Misleading advertising
By law, advertisements must be legal, decent, honest and truthful in the way they sell to us.
If you believe that an advertisement is misleading, or inappropriate, you should tell the advertiser.
You also have the right to complain to the advertising regulator, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
If they uphold your complaint, they have the power to order an ad to be changed, or indeed withdrawn altogether.
Their website lists the types of advertising they can investigate.
